1. Overview

At Acoustik Hearing And Speech Clinic, we are dedicated to providing clear, compassionate, and high-quality audiological and speech therapy care. Due to the personal and medical nature of hearing instruments, custom earmolds, and clinical consultation services, our return, refund, and cancellation policies are structured to comply with healthcare hygiene standards and manufacturer guidelines.

2. Clinical Services & Consultations

• Appointments & Home Visits: Cancellations or rescheduling requests for clinic appointments or home visits must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

• Consultation Fees: Fees for completed hearing tests, speech therapy sessions, audiometry evaluations, and home visits are non-refundable.

3. Hearing Aids & Devices

• Trial / Adaptation Period: Many hearing instruments come with a manufacturer-backed trial or adaptation period (typically up to 14–30 days, as specified in your purchase quotation or agreement).

• Returns & Exchanges During Trial:

  • If you are unsatisfied with your hearing aid during the agreed trial period, you may request a return or an exchange for a different model/brand.

  • Returned devices must be in their original condition, free of physical damage, wear, or unauthorized modifications, and must include all original packaging, user manuals, cases, charging units, and accessories.

• Restocking / Handling Fee: A nominal processing/restocking fee or clinical trial fee may be deducted from the total refund amount to cover custom fitting, hygiene sanitization, and administrative processing.

4. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

• Custom Products: Custom-molded earmolds, custom-fit hearing aid shells, in-the-canal (ITC/CIC/IIC) hearing devices tailored specifically to an individual's ear anatomy, and personalized swim plugs/noise plugs are non-refundable once fabricated.

• Consumables & Accessories: Opened or unsealed packs of batteries, wax guards, domes, drying caps, maintenance kits, and hygiene products cannot be returned or refunded due to health and safety regulations.

5. Warranty & Repairs

• Manufacturer Warranty: All hearing instruments purchased through Acoustik Hearing And Speech Clinic carry standard manufacturer warranties against manufacturing defects.

• Repairs & Service: Repairs covered under warranty will be serviced free of charge as per the manufacturer’s terms. Physical damage, liquid exposure, or damage caused by unauthorized repairs are not covered under warranty.

6. Refund Process

• Inspection: All returned devices will undergo a physical and technical inspection by our clinical team before a refund is approved.

• Method of Refund: Once approved, refunds will be processed via bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/UPI) to the original account within 7 to 10 business days. Cash refunds are not issued.
